पश्चिम महाराष्ट्र आणि कोकणाला जोडणारा केबल स्टे ब्रिज उभारण्यात येत असून महाबळेश्वहून कोकणात जाण्यासाठी हा नवीन जवळचा मार्ग तयार करण्यात येणार आहे. या वर्षाच्या डिसेंबर अखेरीस हा ब्रिज सुरू होणार आहे. केबल स्टे ब्रिजमुळे सातारा जिल्ह्यातील महाबळेश्वरहून रत्नागिरी हे अंतर जवळपास 50 किलोमीटरने कमी होणार आहे. या प्रोजेक्टमुळे सातारा आणि रत्नागिरी जिल्ह्याची कनेक्टिविटी वाढणार आहे.
केबल स्टे ब्रिजवर पर्यटकांसाठी व्ह्यू गॅलरी उभी राहणार
महाबळेश्वरमधून कोकणात जाण्यासाठी बनणाऱ्या केबल स्टे ब्रिजमुळे पर्यटन क्षेत्राचा मोठा फायदा होणार आहे. रत्नागिरी जिल्ह्यातून महाबळेश्वरला येणाऱ्या आणि सातारा जिल्ह्यातून रत्नागिरीला जाणाऱ्या पर्यटकांसह प्रवाशांचा वेळ वाचणार आहे. हा ब्रिज साताऱ्यातील तापोळा आणि रत्नागिरीच्या पलीकडे गाढवली आहिरपर्यंत होत असून जवळच खेड तालुक्यातील रघुवीर हा घाटमार्ग आहे. केबल स्टे ब्रिजवर पर्यटकांसाठी व्ह्यू गॅलरी उभी राहणार आहे. या व्ह्यू गॅलरीमुळे सह्याद्री पर्वत रांगांमध्ये असलेल्या कोयना धरणाच्या बॅकवॉटरसह मनाला भुरळ पाडणारे सनराइज आणि सनसेटही पर्यटकांना येता जाता पाहता येणार आहेत.
स्वर्गीय मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर जोशी यांच्या काळात केबल स्टे ब्रिज प्रस्तावित
मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे यांच्या मुख्यमंत्री पदाच्या काळात या केबल स्टे ब्रिजला गती मिळाली. तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर जोशी यांच्या काळात हा ब्रिज प्रस्तावित होता. या ब्रिजमुळे कोयना खोऱ्यातील अती दुर्गम भाग जोडला जाणार आहे. तर रत्नागिरी जिह्यातील खेड तालुक्यातील रघुवीर घाटमार्गेने या ब्रिजवरुण सातारा महाबळेश्वरचा प्रवास घडणार आहे. साधारण 175 कोटी रुपयांचे बजेट या कामासाठी मंजूर आहे. मुंबईमधील वरळी सी लिंकच्या धर्तीवर हा केबल स्टे ब्रिज होणार असून 540 मी लांबी आणि 17 मीटर रुंदीचा हा ब्रिज असणार आहे.
केबल स्टे ब्रिजमुळे सातारा जिल्ह्यासह रत्नागिरी जिल्ह्यातील पर्यटनाला चालना मिळणार
सातारा जिल्ह्यातील महाबळेश्वर हे मिनी काश्मीर म्हणून ओळखले जाते. देशभरातून पर्यटक महाबळेश्वर, तापोळा, बामनोली, कास पठार, ठोसेघर धबधबा या ठिकाणी पर्यटनासाठी येत असतात. सोबतच कोकणातही पर्यटनासाठी अनेक पर्यटक जात असतात. या केबल स्टे ब्रिजमुळे पन्नास किलोमीटरचे अंतर कमी होणार आहे. त्यामुळे जर सातारा जिल्ह्यात पर्यटनासाठी आलेल्या पर्यटकांना कोकणात जायचं असेल तर या केबल स्टे ब्रिजचा वापर होणार आहे. त्यांचा वेळही वाचणार आहे. त्यामुळे पश्चिम महाराष्ट्रआणि कोकणातील पर्यटन वाढीला या ब्रिजमुळे चालना मिळणार आहे.
